I don't really plan to use dA as a journal, as I have an LJ already, but I'll make an About Me page/entry for general information.

Okies... I'm a 16 year old girl from New York or Noo Yoik as I tend to pronounce it. My passions are photography, singing, music, art, writing and reading.

Photography is my main form of art and I'm hoping to improve over the years until college, where I plan to minor in Photography. Prior to Christmas 06, I used a Sony Cybershot 4.1 MP (basically, a poor point and shoot used more for Myspace-esque photos more than anything xD) so I think it took skill to manipulate that camera to make good photos. On Christmas 06, I received my first professional digital camera, my Canon Rebel XTi 10.1 MP, a camera I had been dreaming to use for months.

Though photography is what I mostly post on dA, you'll also see my traditional art, in which I use charcoal, pencils and pastels mostly.
